The Kingston Burrowes Community Fund

Following company-wide voting from our team, we are delighted to announce the winners of the 2022 Kingston Burrowes Community Fund.

The following local community organisations will be each be receiving a £250 cash grant:

River Thames Boat Project aims to make the Thames accessible for those who have little access to the river due to health, disability, isolation or social exclusion. Their two wheelchair accessible boats provide facilities for recreation and education, giving people in Kingston and the surrounding boroughs the opportunity to experience river and waterways environments.
The Community Fund grant will facilitate a half-day cruise for a group of Young Carers from the Kingston Carers Network charity.

Brookfield Primary Academy PTFA raise funds to benefit the education and wellbeing of the children in Brookfield Primary School. Their fundraising activities include discos, fairs and sponsored events such as colour runs. The Community Fund grant will be used to support the redevelopment of the school’s early years outdoor play area.

Running for the last five years, the Kingston Burrowes Community Fund, has now supported several fantastic local charities and community groups. It is hoped that the funding enhances the amazing work done by these organisations to help local communities.
